In the last few months, I've been very inactive.
Not from lack of effort, just that I've been working hard behind the scenes. It seems that everything I do is under NDA, not coming out for a year, uncredited, etc.
Pursuing art professionally has found me occasionally struggling to develop my own concepts, considering most of what I do nowadays has very clear guidance from creative directors and decisive clients.
It seems when I am loose to create for myself, I become paralyzed by choice, and just end up never starting anything. So that was what Feather Crown was for me: a concept in my head that I held on to for months. It was an image that I saw in my head, and I forced myself to sit down and make.
Turns out that forcibly narrowing my perspective allowed me to make progress.
It's all one step at a time.
